Abysmal

Oct 13, 2017 by Louise

we are currently selling a house through emove - for a basic, no chain sale, it has so far taken 5 months, no completion date on horizon, nobody ever contacts you, when you call for updates, I can only presume you are lied to as they've always chased it up just that day (although, of course, not called you to update you), & of course they've already been paid so you have little come back. Avoid like the plague if you want a stress free sale, even if they're cheaper its just not worth your sanity.

Very poor customer service. Cant get to view any of the properties I want to see and no communication from remove without chasing them.

Buying through emove

Jan 31, 2017 by Christopher rowbottom

Phoned emove to say I was interested in a property was told vender had been offered full asking price , no problem this happens . My wife phoned the day after was told no offer had been placed on the property . My wife placed an other 20 min later she got a phone call from emove to say the offer had been rejected but within that 20 min period someone had offered full asking price again . Very suspect

Avoid

Do not trust this woman - she is a con artist and didn't actually give me her real name - which is Beth Rodwell not Hannah as she told me. This is a one woman company and she will do nothing for you. She conned us out of conveyancing fees - " we use a company that offer competitive rates for your conveyancing so why not add this to your package" When we decided not to continue with emove - one of the two viewers we had - Police Officers ironically - told us she had actually used bad language when they tried to arrange a viewing and we should seriously think about this person marketing our property. I have also been told once she gets your money she doesn't follow up any requests to view. She refused to refund the conveyancing fee and said it was a non refundable holding fee. BE WARNED - I wish we had been!

poor customer care!

Apr 27, 2016 by Mr R Bell

The lady I spoke when I called this company to enquire about a potential viewing for a property was abrupt, rude and very unpleasant. When I politely complained, and indicated that I had decided not to view the property because of her poor telephone manner, she impolitely told me she didn't care and promptly hung up on me! I suggest avoiding this company if you want to sell your property as their initial contact with potential buyers leaves a lot to be desired.

eMove are fantastic

We recently used www.emoveuk.com to sell our house. eMove have provided a faultless and inexpensive service. I was sceptical about using an internet based estate agent but I thought for a relatively low one off payment compared to any of the other high street agents I would give it a go. Emove sold my house as quick as any other agent could have. I would recommend anyone thinking of selling their house to use Emove as they are professional, efficient and friendly, especially my designated agent Michelle who was happy to deal with any issues even out of working hours. You could potentially save a lot of money.

Easy

Was easy to use as a buyer. An interesting concept - will probably try one of these sites next time
