I marketed my house with HN last year and paid the fee up front. Despite being told how saleable my house is, they only produced one viewer. I decided to take it off the market for the winter to avoid it getting "stale". In the interim I have been diagnosed with a terminal illness so will obviously not be moving. HN have flatly refused to refund my fee despite the fact that I have told them I am a pensioner and will need to pay for some adaptations in order for me to remain here.As a goodwill gesture it would have been very much appreciated but as it is, shame on you.
Not worth the money
My partner and I put our houses up for sale in April last year with House Network. What a complete waste of time and money which we paid up front. We found the agents were totally indifferent and unaware of local markets. The houses were priced too high and follow up calls were unhelpful. My neighbour sent me my buyer. My partner's house has just sold through a local agent who was proactive in selling the property. Avoid this online agent - they are a waste of money.
Don't Waste your Money
You may for what you get and frankly we didn't even get that !
We have always traditionally used High Street Agents but thought we would try and save some money this time round. Our complaints are too numerous to mention but they failed to pick up on the fact our purchaser had lost their initial sale, which caused a delay of some 7 weeks having negotiated a heavily discounted price for a quick completion.
We were supposed to have a dedicated negotiator but she was taken off our case after a couple of weeks and thereafter we seemed to be dealing with a different person every time we had contact.
They made no contact with our solicitor whatsoever throughout the whole process.
In our opinion, poor service and complete waste of our money.
